Josephine Chilufya Sefuke

Josephine has previous experience from an EU-based international development organisation; including the managing of international business operations; the formulation of global business strategies, and the development of an expansive global network amongst international development organisations within the EU - ACP (Africa, Caribbean & Pacific). She in addition, served as the liaison person between the organization, ACP embassies (Ambassadors & Country Trade Attaches), and EU developmental institutions, in the process managing company profiles of ACP small & medium-sized (SME) companies and appraising ACP project proposals.

Participating in senior level strategic planning sessions within the organisation, Josephine was able to give valuable input pertaining to the development and strategising of sector development and growth roadmaps for ACP SMEs.

Notable is her wealth of experience in negotiating and administering of domestic and international contracts; managing all phases of contract negotiations for ACP project promoters/SMEs and EU based institutions. In Africa her professional experience extends to the Aviation and Oil Refinery industries (Agip Itala/Indeni).

Josephine holds a Master of Science in Economics of European Integration & Development (Vrije Universiteit Brussels), a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from UMUC (University of Maryland University College) and a Certificate in Marketing (Chartered Institute of Marketing - UK).

Josephine currently serves as Vice President on the board of Planete sans Frontieres (Planet without Borders) a Belgian NGO.
